Rumble, the video-sharing and cloud services platform, has announced plans to acquire Northern Data, a leader in AI and high-performance computing solutions. The all-stock deal, valued at approximately $1.17 billion, would grant Rumble access to Northern Data's Taiga cloud service—boasting 20,480 Nvidia H100 GPUs and 2,048 H200s—and Ardent's five data centers with 850 MW of capacity.

Tether, the stablecoin issuer and majority shareholder of Northern Data, has publicly endorsed the transaction. CEO Paolo Ardoino signaled support with a succinct tweet: "Tether ❤️ Rumble." The proposed exchange ratio of 2.319 Rumble shares per Northern Data share represents a 32% discount to the German firm's last closing price.

The acquisition aligns with both companies' mission to democratize computing infrastructure. If completed, the deal WOULD significantly enhance Rumble's capabilities in cloud services and artificial intelligence, positioning it as a stronger competitor in the tech-driven financial landscape.
